Siikainen early childhood education will switch to using the new Daisy electronic service system starting October 1, 2026. The system consists of two services:
- eDaisy for electronic transactions
- DaisyFamily for daily communication between guardians and early childhood education
eDaisy electronic transactions
From October 1, 2026, all early childhood education applications will be made electronically in the eDaisy service.
Please note that using eDaisy requires a valid email address.
At the same time, we are moving to electronic decisions, and early childhood education decisions will no longer be sent in paper form by post.

Logging in to the service Through Suomi.fi authentication using bank codes or a mobile certificate.
eDaisy services
- Making an application for early childhood education
- Notifications of changes in care relationship
- Termination of the care relationship
DaisyFamily for daily use by caregivers
DaisyFamily will continue to serve as the primary communication channel between guardians and early childhood education.
In DaisyFamily you can
- book childcare appointments
- view the child's basic information and contact details
- track completed treatment appointments
- complete the child's early childhood education plan
- receive and send messages

We ask guardians to check DaisyFamily daily for possible messages.
Our goal is to focus communication on one channel, so the use of other communication channels is reduced where possible. This way, communication is clear and up-to-date information can be found in one place.
