South End Beach
In Eteläpää, on the shore of Lake Siikaisjärvi, there is a public beach with changing rooms. A large pier borders a shallower swimming area for the youngest members of the family. The area also has benches and an outdoor toilet. The beach is located right in front of the main building of the Eteläpää Tourist Centre, so its services are also available to swimmers during the restaurant's opening hours.

Hirvijärvi beach
Hirvijärvi has a public municipal beach, there is a changing room and a barbecue hut on the beach, but it is worth bringing your own wood just in case. The beach is shallow and child-friendly, it is a little deeper at the end of the pier. There is also a table and benches on the beach, as well as a trash can. There is a wood burning stove by the path leading up to the cliff.
