For nature enthusiasts, Siikainen offers the largest continuous bog areas in southern Finland (Haapakeidas), where you can still feel the true silence of nature. At the Katselma Nature Center in Leppijärvi, you can enjoy nature and hiking. The area has a campfire site, a lean-to, a hut for sleeping and warming up, toilets, good parking facilities and a new observation tower.
Go boating? That's possible too, as there are 55 lakes in Siikai, for example, you can reach Isojärvi from the Kurinkanniska marina in Otamo. Nationally significant cultural landscapes in Siikai include the Leppijärvi village cultural landscape, the Vuorijärvi village, the Leväsjoki village and cultural landscape, and the Otamo village. Siikai can even find rural landscapes from the Old World!
