The people of Siikais live in nine villages. The villages are Hirvijärvi, Kirkonkylä, Leppijärvi, Leväsjoki, Otamo, Pyntäinen, Sammi, Saarikoski-Petkele and Vuorijärvi. The diverse nature surrounding Siikais, numerous lakes and varied terrain offer good opportunities for outdoor activities. The landscapes vary from traditional rural landscapes to vast marshlands, from lake views to dry sand ridges.
The villages offer a variety of things to see: a nature tower, a motorsports center, Sammi riding school, a local history museum, huts, lean-tos, museums, beaches and an authentic smokehouse.
Numerous events are held in the villages every year: Bridge Dances in Hirvijärvi, Whitefish Days in Kirkonkylä, Leväsjoki Days in Leväsjoki, Pig Festival in Otamo, Tractor Hill Pulling Competitions in Sammi, etc.
The beautiful village has all the necessary services. For example, there is a post office, shops, a library, a lunch café, a bank/express bank, a restaurant and tourist attractions.
The rural landscape of Kirkonkylä with its beef cattle, stone bridges and green spaces welcomes tourists to the center of Siikainen.
