In the Siikainen parish, services are close to each other. The milieu of the parish is a beautiful cultural landscape and in the same area you can find a local history museum with a glass porch. Another glass porch that is open to the public is located on the edge of Lauttijärvi in ​​the parish, in the Heikintalo craft center building. In between are a comprehensive school and sports hall, social and health services, a kindergarten, a playground, a tennis court, a multi-purpose arena and a skating rink. The municipal office has a library, a customer service point and administrative services under one roof.

Local shops, K-Vestori and Lehtimäki, and a gas station are located along the Siikainen-Merikarvia road. In Kirkonkylä, you can get a bite to eat at the lunch café Marilyn and the beer and coffee house Kaarna. Industrial workplaces are also located near the city center. Eteläpää Tourism and Recreation Centre (moving to a new website) It's also only a ten-minute walk from the city center!

Culture lovers will find plenty to see in the Siikainen church village.  Local History Museum (Redirects to a new site) and the church museum offer a breath of history. The local history museum allows you to view old agricultural artifacts, and the church museum contains tools used in the construction of the church and hymnals from the 1800th century. There is also a nature trail near the church, along which there is a birdwatching tower and a lean-to.

The Siikainen weaving station in Heikintalo organizes handicraft courses for the community college. The Heikintalo handicraft shop is open during the weaving district's operating hours.

The Satakunta Motorsports Centre is responsible for the fast-paced side of Kirkonkylä. It serves as a driving practice and racing car testing and tuning facility for both amateurs and racing drivers. The track also organizes guided rally car rides and ATV safaris.
