Municipal council
The municipal council is the highest decision-making body of the municipality, responsible for the municipality's operations and finances. The Siikainen municipal council has 15 members. The mayor acts as the rapporteur of the municipal council and the head of administration acts as secretary.

In 2026, municipal council meetings will usually be held on Wednesdays starting at 6:00 PM in the Metsätähti dining room on the following days:

The chairman of the municipal council may change the meeting dates if necessary. The meetings are open to the public for public matters. The invitation, agendas and minutes are published in accordance with the Municipalities Act on the public information network, i.e. on the municipality's website. The publication takes into account confidentiality and data protection aspects.
