At its meeting on September 29, 2026, the Siikainen Welfare Board selected Säde Suominen as the recipient of the 2026 Volunteer Work Award.
The volunteer work award, introduced for the first time in 2026, is given as recognition to a person or group that has done significant volunteer work for the benefit of Siikainen and its residents. The 2026 award is therefore the first volunteer work award to be presented by the municipality of Siikainen.
The award consists of a trophy, and the recipient will also be commemorated with a cash gift. The award will be presented at the Siikainen Municipality Christmas Opening on November 27, 2026.
Warm congratulations to Säde Suominen for the recognition and thanks for her valuable volunteer work for the benefit of Siikainen and the people of Siikainen!
