A new first-line operating model will be introduced in the Sata area, making it easier to contact services and find the right help. The goal is to make the process smoother and ensure that customers are directed to the services they need as quickly as possible.
The first line is intended especially for situations where the customer does not yet have a customer relationship with the service or has a new need for a service or care. If you are already a customer of the service, you will continue to primarily deal with your own service and, if necessary, your own employee or personal caregiver.
The frontline provides advice, customer and service guidance, assessment of treatment and service needs, and assistance with appointment bookings and changes. One contact is enough, as the frontline ensures that your case is forwarded to the right service.
Changes to contact methods starting September 1.9st
Starting Tuesday, September 1.9, there will be changes in the contact methods for elderly services, family care, children, youth and family services, oral health care and disability services.
In the future, services can be contacted through digital channels, such as the Message service and chat in the Sata application, or through an anonymous contact form. The chat service previously used in children, youth and family services will be discontinued as of September 1.9. Customers can continue to contact us through new first-line channels.
It is still possible to do business by phone. Starting Tuesday, September 1.9, these services will introduce new centralized service numbers, through which customers will be directed to the correct service.
The number for customer guidance for elderly services will remain unchanged. The number for customer guidance for informal care will be merged with the number for customer guidance for elderly services. The number serves all caregivers regardless of the age of the person receiving care. When calling the number for matters related to informal care, select option 1 from the telephone menu.
The minimum opening hours for all first lines are 9 am to 15 pm on weekdays.
– Contacting disability services is becoming significantly easier. Instead of the previous one-hour phone time, customers can contact us for six hours a day. In addition, non-urgent messages can be sent around the clock via digital channels, says the head of the disability services unit Vesa Kiiski.
This is how you do business digitally
With the frontline operating model, digital transaction options are also expanding. From the beginning of September, you can also send a non-urgent message via the Sata application to billing, children, youth and family services, and disability services.
You can contact us at a time that suits you best. A professional will respond to your message within 1–3 business days.
If you do not have access to bank codes or a mobile certificate, you can leave an anonymous contact request on our website. From the beginning of September, the form will be available in children, youth and family services and disability services.
In September, the option to book appointments with a dental hygienist and dental nurse for those under 18 will be added to digital appointment booking.
It is easy to check and, if necessary, cancel your oral health care appointments using the Sata app. In the future, we will expand digital appointment booking options to adults as well, says the head nurse of oral health care Sirja Peltoniemi.
