Culture

In cultural services, the municipality relies on cooperation with other communities. The municipality produces only a few small-scale cultural events as purchased services each year. The operations of the Merikarvia-Siikainen Community College and the services of the Kankaanpää Music College contribute to strengthening the cultural offering in Siikainen.
Active civic activity is a sign of the vitality of the municipality. Associations and organizations promote the well-being of municipal residents and leisure residents through their activities. The municipality supports the work of associations with grants for cultural, sports and youth activities. The Siikaisten Day event is organized by local associations and companies. The local history museum at Siikaisten Church is maintained and developed by Siikainen local heritage museum (Redirects to a new site).

The Siikainen Municipality Welfare Board annually allocates the following funds for sports, youth and cultural work:

Katri-Helena Saarinen-Holappa, Secretary of the Library and Culture Department, is responsible for culture. Jari Tuuri, Director of Education, is responsible for preparing decisions regarding cultural grants and the music institute.
