The LiikU Challenge Cycling campaign will be organized from May 1 to June 21, 2026.

You can participate in the campaign with any type of bike, such as an electric bike, mountain bike, city bike, hybrid bike, cyclocross bike, box bike, adaptive exercise bike, tandem bike or even a kick bike – depending on your goals.

There are four series in the municipal competition: municipalities with less than 5,000 inhabitants, municipalities with less than 10,000 inhabitants, municipalities with more than 10,000 inhabitants and cities with more than 20,000 inhabitants. Performances are mainly recorded in the free Liikkuen pilpi vuoten mobile application, which automatically transfers the kilometers to the municipal ranking on the campaign website. The results are displayed in real time in the application. Siikainen also uses a traditional cycling card, which you can pick up from the Siikainen library or print/save the Registration card file found below.

The LiikU Challenge Cycling campaign is organised in collaboration with LiikU and the sports activities of the municipalities participating in the campaign. Prizes will be drawn among all participants, and the winners will be notified personally.

The Moving Through the Year mobile application is available for free download from Google Play and the App Store, and it also works as a browser version. More detailed information can be found on the campaign website (redirects to a new site).
